Diamonds International x Rotary Club of Barbados West Charity Golf Tournament Returns for 2026

Diamonds International and The Rotary Club of Barbados West

(RCOBW) have officially launched the 24th staging of the annual Diamonds International x Rotary Club of Barbados West Charity Golf Tournament, which takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at Royal Westmoreland, followed by the prize-giving ceremony.

Over the past 26 years, with a 2 year hiatus during the COVID19 pandemic, the tournament has raised more than $2.6 million in support of the Rotary Club of Barbados West's charitable initiatives. Diamonds International has proudly partnered with the event since its inception, helping fund projects including school breakfast programmes, literacy initiatives, tertiary scholarships and other community development programmes.

Announced by RCOBW President Wayne Alleyne, this year's Rotary focus is "Ending Abuse and Restoring Dignity in our Men and Boys," with tournament proceeds supporting projects that continue to improve lives across Barbados.

Registration is now open for this year’s tournament, scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026, and we are pleased to already have five new corporate teams on board, reflecting strong early support and continued growth of the event.

Reflecting on the event's remarkable journey, Past President and Tournament Chair Horace Cobham spoke about the enduring legacy of the tournament, highlighting how it has grown over the years into a premier charity sporting event while remaining steadfast in its mission of service above self. He credited the continued support of Diamonds International, sponsors, golfers and

volunteers for ensuring the tournament's ongoing success and community impact.

A major highlight for 2026 is the exciting addition of Bremont, the internationally renowned British luxury watchmaker proudly represented locally by Diamonds International. Known for its exceptional craftsmanship, precision engineering and bold innovation, Bremont brings a new level of prestige and energy to this year’s tournament.

As part of its commitment to Barbados and giving back to the community, Bremont will sponsor all tournament prizes, elevating the overall experience for players and adding a distinctive touch of luxury to every category of award. In an exciting first for the event, Bremont will also introduce a spectacular Hole-in-One Prize on Hole 15, giving golfers the chance to win an

extraordinary reward with a single perfect shot.

This landmark addition brings heightened anticipation and excitement to the competition, marking 2026 as one of the most thrilling editions of the tournament to date.

Diamonds International Managing Director Jacob Hassid welcomed Bremont's involvement and thanked the Rotary Club of Barbados West, Royal Westmoreland, sponsors, participants and the media for their continued support.

Returning once again to support the tournament is Barbadian cricketer and avid golfer Jason Holder, who will captain a Diamonds International team.

Registration is now open through the Rotary Club of Barbados West's website, social media platforms or through members of the organising committee.

Every team entered and every sponsorship secured helps the Rotary Club of Barbados West continue its long-standing commitment to serving communities throughout Barbados.
